The A/G-16 Gatling Sentry fires at an extremely fast rate from its rotary gun. It fills the same niche as the machine gun sentry, able to effectively destroy large crowds of small and medium sized enemies.

The Gatling Sentry deals extremely high DPS with a fast turn speed and keeps firing as it rotates from target to target, making it excellent for on-demand cover from hordes of smaller foes. In general, it deals substantially more damage than the Machine Gun Sentry, firing the same type of bullet at a faster rate. Although this means it consumes ammunition faster, it is stocked with more than enough to make up for the difference. All these traits combined can also make it very dangerous for friendly fire - do not get between this sentry and where you expect targets may be coming from!

Applicable Ship Modules

The following Ship Modules affect the A/G-16 Gatling Sentry:
