Tactical Information
- Due to the large bombardment area, if you do not throw the beacon as far as possible, you may find yourself to be in the area of potential attacks unless you sprint in the opposite direction immediately after throwing. The approximate minimum safe distance from the beacon is 50m.
- The 120mm HE Barrage is capable of destroying most enemy structures, making it a good tool to soften up or destroy enemy bases and objectives.
- It can destroy Detector Towers, Command Bunkers, Anti-Air Emplacements, Mortar Emplacements, and Parked Dropships.
- It is especially useful for AA Emplacements since Eagle stratagems can't be used to destroy the emplacements or the enemies occupying it.
- It can destroy Detector Towers, Command Bunkers, Anti-Air Emplacements, Mortar Emplacements, and Parked Dropships.
- The 120mm HE Barrage is effective against Bot Drops. A beacon placed approximately where the reinforcement flare has been fired is capable of killing a majority of incoming Dropships and their occupants.
