The HMG Emplacement is a Stratagem that deploys a static, manually-operated machine gun emplacement.
Procurement
The HMG Emplacement is unlocked at the Patriotic Administration Center (in the Bridge section) for 10000 Requisition Slips at Level 10.

* Parts with their HP listed as "Main" do not have their own individual health. All damage dealt to these parts is transferred to the enemy's Main health pool.

**** ExDR means explosive damage resistance, this is a percentage between 0 and 100. If this value is 100%, the part is explosive immune, meaning explosives cannot damage it.
Explosions will only directly damage Main health if it is internal.

Tactical Information
- A defensive emplacement, the HMG Emplacement calls down a pair of mounted machine guns on a manned rotating emplacement.
- Despite the name, the machine guns mounted on the emplacement version are different from the Heavy Machine Gun that the player wields as a support weapon, inflicting more damage per round and only being capable of a single fixed firing rate.
- As an expendable emplacement, the HMG Emplacement cannot be reloaded or repaired, and will persist on the field until it runs out of ammunition or is destroyed.
- When continuously fired, the HMG Emplacement is capable of maintaining its fire for approximately 30 seconds, affected by Extreme Cold. Each gun contains 300 rounds, and both are fired simultaneously for a combined 22 rounds per second.
- The weapon mount can be rotated a full 360º, allowing the operator to engage targets in all directions. However, the turning rate of the mount is very slow, so turning to engage enemies to the sides can take a considerable amount of time. The mount can aim in approximately a 120º cone in front of the base without being subjected to the mounting base's slow rotation speed.
- The HMG Emplacement is an extremely effective defensive structure that can quickly and easily eliminate all non-heavy targets it is brought to bear against.
- Like the support weapon, the emplacement is capable of penetrating heavy armor, meaning that it outright ignores the armor of almost all medium-sized enemies and can threaten most heavy enemies such as Hulks and Chargers, even being able to bring down Bile Titans.
- Because of the turret base's slow rotation speed, the HMG Emplacement is best placed in a position where enemies are funneled into a narrow chokepoint that it is already pointed at. If it does not have to aim in a cone wider than 120º, the base does not have to rotate to engage targets.
- The emplacement itself will block incoming projectiles for a limited time, however it cannot withstand high-powered projectiles such as shots from the main gun of an Annihilator Tank or being impacted by the melee attacks of a Charger or Bile Titan.
- Because the HMG Emplacement does not expire unless empty or destroyed, multiple emplacements can be exist simultaneously at the same location. When reaching a defensive hardpoint, try to call down an emplacement as early as possible, to allow the Stratagem to come off of cooldown quickly and call down a second one or more.
