Tactical Information
- The Recoilless Rifle has a capacity of 1, and takes 5 seconds to reload, during which the Helldiver will kneel and be unable to move.
- Unless the shooter has a squadmate carry the backpack for them, allowing reloads in just 2 seconds.
- The backpack that accompanies this weapon holds 5 rockets, giving the Helldiver who carries it a total of 6 shots before needing to find more ammo.
- An Ammo box restores 1 rocket to the backpack, while a Resupply box restores 3.
- Two hits from the Recoilless Rifle will destroy a single Shrieker Nest structure, which means you'll need either 4 or 6 shots to finish off the entire nest. This can be done from outside the spawn range of the Shriekers if line of sight can be established, making it much easier to deal with these objectives.
- The Recoilless Rifle's bullet drop is pretty significant over ranges that long, though, so be sure to aim slightly above the nest.
- Most enemies will die to one shot from this weapon, but its limited ammo and lengthy reload time means a Helldiver should save them for only the toughest targets.
- Brood Commanders will die to a single headshot, but a body shot is almost as good, because the explosion will severely damage their head, after which just a few headshots from any other weapon will finish them off.
- Chargers will die in one headshot from the Recoilless Rifle. A single shot to a leg will strip the armor, making the Charger extremely vulnerable to small arms fire. Shooting at their abdomen is not advised, as it takes two shots before it will rupture and cause the Charger to bleed out. Hitting them in the side will blow off a large chunk of their plating and make it vulnerable as well, but isn't as effective as breaking their legs.
- Bile Titans will die to 2 headshots, and their side armor can be blown off to make them vulnerable to small arms fire.
- Hulks will die in two body shots, or a single headshot (though their eye is tiny). Hitting their rear weak spot will not one-shot them.
- Tanks will die in 2 shots to the turret. Hitting the weak spot will not one-shot it. The same goes for Cannon Turrets atop pillars at some Automaton bases.
- The Recoilless Rifle generates a significant backblast when fired. Operators should be mindful of their teammates (and vice versa) to avoid any mishaps that could result in injury.

- Fixed bug where Recoilless Rifle would consume an extra shell from the backpack if the reload was canceled just after a shell was inserted, but before the reload was completed.
- As a result, the third phase of the reload can now be cancelled early for a faster reload.
